Governor Won’t Send State Police After Democrats

Governor Mitch Daniels just made a statement:

“I’m not sending the state police after anybody.  I’m not gonna divert a single trooper from their job of protection the Indiana public.  I trust that people’s consciences will bring them back to work.”

Also with regard to the right to work legislation:  “For reasons I’ve explained more than once I thought there was a better time and place to have this very important and legitimate issue raised.”

When someone steals money from a trust fund, is it a crime? The Legislature keeps taking the Teachers Retirement Money and never puts it back.

Obviously there is a better way to do things, however, when that bettter way is blocked by the opposition, sometimes more drastic and attention getting methods have to take place. Government is supposed to work together...are the republicans working with anyone other than the governor to get his agenda through???
