General Assembly overrides Gov. Pence veto

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The Indiana General Assembly on Wednesday voted to override a Gov. Mike Pence veto.

The House voted 68-23 to override the veto, which was for House Enrolled Act 1546.

The bill handles various tax issues, including one in Jackson and Pulaski counties.

The General Assembly hadn't met in a session of this kind since 1995.
