Pence signs 2 bills

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Indiana Gov. Mike Pence signed two house enrolled bills into law on Tuesday.

The first bill, HEA 1386, makes sure there aren’t any unfair practices with auto dealers, manufacturers, distributor’s franchisers and franchisees by spelling out different associated costs.

The other bill, HEA 1387, requires Veterans’ Affairs Commission to create certification and accreditation standards for county and city service officers. They also are required to take an exam for renewal and training for new individuals.

Both bills were authored by Rep. Mike Speedy (R-Indianapolis).
