Gov. Mike Pence involved in car crash

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Gov. Mike Pence was involved in a car crash Thursday morning in downtown Indianapolis.

The accident happened around 10:30 a.m. at Pine and Vermont streets. Officials said the driver of the other vehicle disregarded a stop sign and struck the vehicle Pence was driving in.

Pence wasn't driving and wasn't injured. He changed cars and continued on his trip to Fort Wayne.

Indiana State Police was investigating the accident.
