Chamber president resigns

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — After just 18 months in the capacity, Indy Chamber of Commerce President Scott Miller resigns.

Miller’s last day will be May 31. He said he wants to pursue his ambition of starting or growing a company.

Indianapolis Mayor Greg Ballard said in a statement "I want to thank Scott for his years of service promoting and advancing growth in our city. His leadership of the city's economic development organization, Develop Indy; the Indy Chamber and the successful merger of those two great organizations has forged the creation of a single, strong voice for our business community that will continue to enhance our efforts to strengthen our economy."

Miller’s replacement was not immediately released.
