PRINCETON, Ind. (AP) — Indiana Gov. Mike Pence is traveling to southern Indiana a week after a similar trip was called off because of his wife's emergency gallbladder surgery.
The governor's office says Pence is scheduled to take part in an economic development announcement Thursday morning at a Vuteq USA auto parts factory near Princeton. The company is a supplier for Toyota, which has some 4,000 workers at a factory near that Gibson County city.
Pence then heads to Evansville, where he will attend a Kiwanis luncheon meeting at the Aztar Hotel and tour the University of Southern Indiana.
Pence had been scheduled to visit Evansville and Jeffersonville last Thursday but stayed in Indianapolis until his wife was released from the outpatient surgery.
