INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — The chairman of the Indiana state Senate Tax and Fiscal Policy Committee will serve as policy adviser to a national Republican political action committee.
Republican Sen. Brandt Hershman of Lafayette is the only Indiana lawmaker named to the 2013 GOPAC Legislative Leaders Advisory Board.
The Times of Munster reports
Hershman's duties on the board are to promote policies intended to cut government spending, create private sector jobs and reduce the cost of public services.
