INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Gov. Mike Pence is gathering his agency and department heads for the first Cabinet meeting of the new administration.
Pence was sworn in as Indiana's 50th governor Monday and quickly got to work. He plans to brief media on the Cabinet meeting afterward.
The meeting comes as the Pence team continues settling in at the Statehouse in its first week. Budget Director Chris Atkins rolled out the Pence budget Tuesday and Pence is expected to give a better idea what will be in his legislative agenda when he delivers his first State of the State address next week.
