INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Joe Donnelly, Indiana's new senator-elect, said Wednesday that he is looking forward to working with the rest of the state's Congressional delegation.
"I hope that Sen. Dan Coats and I can have the same teamwork approach that Sen. Lugar and Sen. Evan Bayh always had ... in that we don't worry about the politics ... but we make sure we get it right for Indiana, right for the country," Donnelly said.
Coats was elected to Bayh's seat after he chose not to run for re-election. Sen. Richard Lugar lost in the Republican primary to Tea Party favorite Richard Mourdock, whom Donnelly defeated in the General Election.
