It's an unusual year for incumbents as many face challengers in the upcoming mid-term election.
Incumbent Allen County Superior Court Judge Ken Scheibenberger is facing two: Wendy Davis and Lewis Griffin.
WANE-TV political analyst John McGauley says Scheibenberger's "colorful past" makes him an easy target.
"Ken Scheibenberger shouldn't rest well until the election is over with," said McGauley.
In 2007, Scheibenberger went into another judge's courtroom and berated a man he believed played a role in his son's death. For that, the Indiana Supreme Court suspended him for three days.
"I've made some mistakes in my career and they have those to use against me and I've made some positive moves in this community that I'm proud of," Scheibenberger told the press at a political forum, Monday.
McGauley thinks a candidate in another race could swing some momentum to one of Scheibenberger's challengers.
"Rick Stevenson who's running for Wayne Township Trustee, has probably the best 'get out to vote' machine in the county. Better than either one of the parties. He is going to bring out a lot of democratic voters who are naturally going to gravitate towards, I think, Lewis Griffin," explained McGauley.
However, McGauley won't pick a winner just yet, saying it could be anyone's game.
