John Gregg files ballot petitions

Democrat John Gregg will be on the ballot for governor in the May primary.

The former Speaker of the Indiana House delivered the necessary petitions to the state election division accompanied by his son. Gregg made a point of the contrast with Republican Mike Pence who should up with 92 boxes and 92 volunteers earlier this week. “We didn’t feel that we needed an entourage,” said Gregg, “because everybody’s that’s go a job in Indiana needs to be at work and we’re glad they’re at work and this election’s about getting the rest of them to work and getting going.”

Gregg said that opposition to the new right to work law will be a part of his campaign and, he said, if elected he would be willing to sign a repeal of right to work.
