(LIN) – It was another week and another win for former Gov. Mitt Romney, R-Mass., after he nabbed Florida’s 50 GOP delegates.

"Mr. President, you were elected to lead, you chose to follow, and now it's time to get out of the way."--Romney, unleashing a strong attack on President Barack Obama in remarks to cheering supporters after routing former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, R-Ga., in the Florida primary.

"It is now clear that this will be a two-person race between the conservative leader, Newt Gingrich, and the Massachusetts moderate, and the voters of Florida made that clear."--Gingrich, in a statement after polls closed in Florida.

"It's beautiful…And it is America's song, and it's a song that's meant to be sung by every American."--First lady Michelle Obama, smiling about Romney’s rendition of “America the Beautiful.” Obama was taping an appearance for "The Tonight Showwith Jay Leno ."

"You've got to crawl before you can walk. " --Rep. Dave Camp, R-Mich., describing the slow start in congressional negotiations aimed to find more than $150 billion in deficit savings. Camp faces a Feb. 29 deadline.

" I’m not concerned with the very poor . We have a safety net there. If it needs repair, I’ll fix it. I’m not concerned about the very rich, they’re doing just fine. I’m concerned about the very heart of the America."--Romney, in an interview.

"So much for 'we're all in this together.’"--Obama campaign manager Jim Messina, in a tweet following Romney’s statement.

"We should care about the very poor."--Gingrich, in his response to Romney’s statement.

"Seven years of evidence and experience ultimately demonstrated that Indiana did need a right-to-work law to capture jobs for which, despite our highly rated business climate, we are not currently being considered."--Gov. Mitch Daniels, R-Ind., after signing right-to-work legislation into law for the state of Indiana. The Hoosier State became the 23 rd state to adopt such a law.

"It is time for the international community to put aside our own differences and send a clear message of support to the people of Syria."--Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, challenging Russia to overcome its opposition to a U.N. draft resolution demanding that Syrian President Bashar Assad yield power and end the violence that has killed thousands.

"If things work out, she'll be home either today or first thing tomorrow morning. Thank you for all those prayers."--2012 GOP presidential candidate and former Sen. Rick Santorum, R-Pa., on the news of his daughter Bella, who was hospitalized in the middle of the Florida primary.
